Recently, the SIMATIC ET 200SP distributed I/O system has added two new CPU extensions - CPU 1514SP T-2 PN and CPU 1514TP TF-2 PN, which not only have extended motion control functions, but also use SIMATIC S7- The innovative firmware version V3.0 of the 1500 controller is the basis. Two CPUs are currently announced and available for delivery.
The CPU 1514SP T-2 PN and CPU 1514TP TF-2PN are suitable for applications with medium requirements on program scope and processing speed. Demanding motion control-focused applications such as cross-industry automation tasks in tandem machines, special machines and plant engineering can be solved. In addition, these CPUs are suitable for use in distributed configurations via PROFINET IO.
