This demo shows Kollmorgen's overall solution for automation components, which can provide customers with comprehensive programming, testing, setup and debugging functions.
It embodies Kollmorgen's integrated solution idea of packaging multi-axis programmable controllers and AKD servo drives into one device, reducing panel space, wiring costs, and manufacturing time.
Depending on the complexity of the program and the actual application, one PDMM can control 20 or more transmission axes, reducing the cost of a separate servo controller.
Tube diagram programming provides a breakthrough solution for generating complex, multi-axis motion programs in Kollmorgen Automation Suite™. Rather than writing line-by-line code, developers can simply drag and drop icons to create visual representations of machine motion components and relationships. Each icon is linked to a pre-built motion module that has been optimized and tested to ensure quality.
We also offer PLCopen for motion, a structured programming approach for creating motion applications that are hardware independent, interoperable, scalable across different control solutions, leveraging existing engineering resources. Centered around IEC61131-3, giving developers the option to program in a familiar environment.
